The 21st Century program is a grant funded FREE After school and Summer Program. We provide free opportunities for 120 “at-risk” students to participate in programs that fosters Academic and Personal Enrichment development. This program runs Monday through Friday from 3:35 PM – 6:35 PM and is eligible for students in grades 3—8.
The 2017-2018 Bears Den After School Program runs 160 school days. This does not include Early Release days.
2019 Summer Program
Summer is approaching quickly!! Bears Den will be holding a FREE Summer Academic Enrichment Program at NBAE.
As always the summer program will focus on providing opportunities for students to participate in daily classes that emphasize academic and personal enrichment. Please note this is NOT a SUMMER CAMP. Students are expected to participate daily through-out Academic AND Personal Enrichment Classes. Students are also expected to attend all 30 days of the Summer Program.
Student who attend the program 25 days or more will receive a letter offering them a seat for the 2019-2020 afterschool program.
The summer program registration is currently open to all NBAE students. The lottery will be held April 18, 2019. Parents will be notified via telephone once their child has been selected.
