Getting Involved

North Broward Academy of Excellence requires that parents volunteer twenty hours of service to the school each academic year, if they have one student enrolled in the school. If a parent has more than one child enrolled in the school they will need to complete thirty hours each academic year. Volunteer activities will range from office clerical work to editorial and artistic services; assisting with school events; fundraising; chaperoning field trips and numerous other activities.

Donations can also be applied to volunteer hours. Every $10 value equals 1 volunteer hour($10 = 1 hour). Simply attach your receipt(s) to the Parent Donation Form which needs to be signed by the person receiving the donated items. Donation forms are located in the schools front office.

Please review the Parent Volunteer Service Program Hourly Log and Program Packet for more information.
