North Broward Academy of Excellence Elementary School and North Broward Academy of Excellence Middle School offers several enrichment classes during the school day. The elementary school offers: Art, Physical Education, Music, Spanish, and Technology. Our middle school offers Physical Education, Drama, Spanish, and Technology/Business. Additionally, NBAE also gives students 150 minutes of structured physical activity per week based on new Florida legislation.
Beginning in mid-October, NBAE will be offering FCAT Tutoring designed to prepare students for the high stakes testing that occurs every year. Parents will receive invitations to participate in the tutoring sessions.
Your child’s teacher will offer a tutoring session one day a week. The purpose of this tutoring is to be available for any questions or concerns a students may have with regard to the subjects covered in the classroom.
We are the BEARS, the mighty, mighty BEARS! Come and cheer with us as we root on for our school and help promote school pride. Currently we only have cheerleading for our middle school females grades 6th – 8th. Please contact our sports director Ms. Fetridge for more information at TFetridge@northbrowardcharter.org.

Student Government Association
Members of the NBAE Middle School Student Government Association are encouraged to facilitate positive relations between the faculty, administration, staff, parents and the student body of the school. They will be an example to others by promoting self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning.
